Dallas Mavericks What To Watch:

The Minnesota Timberwolves are still feeling the effects of their most recent game against the Dallas Mavericks.

In the best-of-seven Western Conference finals, the Mavericks defeated the Timberwolves 4-1 on May 30. While the Timberwolves' incredible season ended abruptly, Dallas made it to the NBA Finals, where it ultimately fell to the Boston Celtics.

When the Timberwolves open off against the Mavericks in Minneapolis on Tuesday night, the teams will face each other once more.

Target Center will host the Dallas Mavericks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game on Tuesday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. EDT. The game will be televised nationwide on TNT. Additionally, NBA League Pass and FuboTV offer live streaming.

On Tuesday, the Mavericks will play the Timberwolves in the second leg of a back-to-back. The Dallas team just defeated the Utah Jazz 110-102 on Monday. Luka Doncic finished with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists, while Kyrie Irving led the team with 23 points and 9 assists. Klay Thompson made 4 of 11 3-point attempts and finished with 18 points.

Player to Watch: Thompson has been reliable thus far after being brought in to address Dallas' shooting problems from beyond the arc. He has now nailed 15 3-pointers on 45.3% shooting and averaged 19.6 points in the first three games.

The point total for Klay Thompson is 15.5. The four-time winner should easily surpass that threshold on Tuesday, considering it is much below his season average.

Minnesota Timberwolves What To Watch:

There are four NBA games on Tuesday, including the Dallas Mavericks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves contest. These two clubs are candidates for the Western Conference championship and are among the best in the conference. With Minnesota in seventh place and Dallas in fourth, both teams are off to a 2-1 start.

This will be a rematch of the Western Conference finals in 2023–24, where the Mavs advanced to the finals after winning 4–1. In the regular season, they also faced each other four times, with the T-Wolves winning the series 3-1. In the 136 meetings between the two teams during the regular season, Dallas has a 77-59 advantage.

Dallas defeated them 124-103 in Game 5 of the conference finals, their most recent meeting. Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic each scored 36 points for the Mavs. Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards both scored 28 points to lead Minnesota.

Following Karl-Anthony Towns' trade to the New York Knicks in exchange for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo, the Timberwolves underwent a significant transformation. Despite losing to the Los Angeles Lakers 110-103 to begin the season, Minnesota has since recovered to defeat the Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings.

On Saturday, Minnesota defeated Toronto 112-101. DiVincenzo scored 16 points off the bench, while Randle and Edwards each scored 24 points.

Player to watch: The points prop for Julius Randle is set at 21.5. Throughout the season, he averages 24.3 points. Randle averaged 21.3 points in 24 games versus the Mavs during his career. The forward is likely to score more than 21.5 points and come out aggressive.
