Portland Trail Blazers What To Watch:

As they start a four-game trip, the Trail Blazers have dropped four of their last six games this season.

The Oklahoma City Thunder thrashed Portland 137-114 at home on Friday. It was the team's 13th consecutive loss to the Thunder.

After falling behind 17 points in the first quarter, Portland came back to tie the game at 68 at the half. However, after committing 12 turnovers that resulted in 19 Oklahoma City points in the third quarter, the Trail Blazers were outscored 38–17.

With 17 points, Jerami Grant led Portland, followed by 14 points each from Deandre Ayton and Rayan Rupert. For the first time this season, Ayton did not record a double-double and only pulled down five rebounds.

Anfernee Simons scored nine points on just one of eight shots. At one instance, he landed on his elbow, but Billups stated that he doesn't believe it's a major problem.

Toumani Camara, a second-year forward, has scored in double figures four times this season, including a season-high 13 points. In the early going, he is shooting 52.6 percent (10 of 19) from beyond the arc and made three 3-pointers.

Phoenix Suns What To Watch:

In four of their first five games, the Phoenix Suns have faced Los Angeles opponents.

The Suns have won four of the five despite seeing the Lakers and Clippers twice each. On Saturday night, they will try to defeat the Portland Trail Blazers, who are visiting.

In his 28 seasons as an NBA head coach (now his 11th) and an assistant (17), Phoenix coach Mike Budenholzer stated he can't remember ever seeing an opening slate like this.

Devin Booker scored a season-high 40 points with the team defeating the Clippers 125-119 on the road on Thursday. Over the past two games, he has averaged 36.5 points.

Off the bench, Royce O'Neale made another significant contribution. He shot 7 of 8 from the field, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range, to record a career-high 21 points.

Many onlookers, including Budenholzer, were taken aback by the fact that O'Neale, who is starting his seventh NBA season, produced his best-ever production.

The Suns have labeled Bradley Beal's elbow as doubtful for Saturday. Only three of the first five games have seen him play. Beal took some shots during Friday's brief exercise, according to Budenholzer.
