Philadelphia 76ers What To Watch:
The Memphis Grizzlies defeated Philadelphia 124-107 at home on Saturday.
The 76ers were outscored 52-33 on the night Tyrese Maxey scored 23 points.
After the game, Embiid caused a scene by yelling at a reporter in the locker room and then pushing him.
Marcus Hayes of the Philadelphia Inquirer, who recently questioned Embiid's professionalism and ability to maintain his fitness, was the target. Additionally, he angered Embiid by bringing up his late brother and son, both of whom were named Arthur.
Despite being without its two best players, Joel Embiid and Paul George, due to left knee ailments, the 76ers have lost four of their first five games of the season.
On Monday, though, George might make his team and season debut. He was listed as questionable for the game by the 76ers.
Phoenix Suns What To Watch:
Under new coach Mike Budenholzer, the Phoenix Suns have gotten off to a quick start.
Prior to Monday's home game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Suns had won five of their six games overall and their last four games.
After defeating the visiting Portland Trail Blazers 103-97 on Saturday, Phoenix's play was erratic.
Prior to the Trail Blazers' incredible comeback, the Suns were behind four points at the half, outscored Portland 44–18 in the third quarter, and led by 26 early in the fourth quarter.
In the third quarter, Portland was 1 of 11 from 3-point range and Phoenix Suns was 9 of 18.
In the win, Devin Booker finished with 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists. 21 points were scored by Kevin Durant. Off the bench, Grayson Allen scored 18 points and drained four 3-pointers.
