Orlando Magic What To Watch:

Getting used to life without Paolo Banchero, the Mavericks will host Magic.

After realizing that All-Star forward Paolo Banchero will be sidelined indefinitely due to a strained right oblique, Orlando Magic coach Jamahl Mosley was forced to rearrange his lineup.

When the Magic play the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday to resume their five-game road trip, Mosley is likely to rely on the team's depth.

Orlando's Magic lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 120-109 on Friday, their first game without Banchero.

After suffering an injury in Wednesday's loss to the Chicago Bulls, Banchero—who was averaging 29 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.6 assists through the first five games of the season—will be reassessed in four to six weeks.

Franz Wagner finished Friday's game with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Jalen Suggs scored a career-high 28 points. Off the bench, rookie Tristan da Silva recorded 17 points, five rebounds, and two assists.

Orlando centers Wendell Carter Jr. (right knee tendinitis) and Goga Bitadze (left foot tendon strain) are both classified as questionable for Sunday's game after missing Friday's.

Dallas Mavericks What To Watch:

Dallas Mavericks  is trying to recover from Thursday's 108-102 loss to the Houston Rockets, which dropped them to 3-2.

Dallas' five-game homestand began Thursday with a foul-plagued loss to Houston. The Mavericks' Luka Doncic scored 29, Kyrie Irving contributed 28, and Klay Thompson finished with 12.

In each of their first five games, the Mavericks have committed more fouls than their opponent, and Thursday's 27 personal fouls extended the trend.

Additionally, Kidd wants Thompson to start shooting more shots in each game. After 11 successful seasons with the Golden State Warriors, the seasoned guard is in his debut season with the Mavericks.
