James Harden recorded his 78th career triple-double, leading Los Angeles with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists. After letting Phoenix shoot 60.5 percent from the floor, including 52.2 percent from 3-point range, in the second half, the Clippers lost to 2-3.
Los Angeles, which has dropped its last two games by a combined total of seven points, is led by Norman Powell, who averages a team-high 25.4 points. The Clippers have lost three games this season by a total of ten points.
Oklahoma City, where Harden played for the first three seasons of his career, put up another strong showing on Friday. In the second half, the Thunder outscored the Blazers 69-46, dominating Portland.
Daigneault has added 6-foot-9 Ousmane Dieng to the lineup as centers Jaylin Williams (right hamstring strain) and Isaiah Hartenstein (left hand fracture) are both out.
In 19 minutes off the bench on Friday, the third-year forward recorded 11 points, three rebounds, two assists, and one block.
In preparation for the second part of a back-to-back, the Thunder were able to rest their starters for a large portion of Friday's fourth quarter. In the victory on Friday, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 30 points in 28 minutes on 12 of 18 shooting.
