The New York Knicks vs. Washington Wizards game on Friday will conclude the preseason for both clubs and pit two teams from the Eastern Conference against one another. Prior to the start of the 2024–25 regular season, this will be their second encounter.

The Knicks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-110 on October 13 in a close preseason game in which both teams' star players played more than 25 minutes.

With 25 points and 12 rebounds against the Wizards and 16 points and 16 rebounds against the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has been an outstanding player for New York. The Knicks defeated the Charlotte Hornets even though they rested a number of starters for their subsequent game.

Five players scored in double figures in the Wizards' lone preseason victory, led by Corey Kispert's 20 points and Kyle Kuzma's 22 points. The Washington Wizards will require a full team effort to defeat the Knicks.
