Los Angeles Lakers What To Watch:

On Friday, the final day of the NBA preseason, there will be seven games, with the LA Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game being the penultimate one. This will be a rematch of Golden State's 111-97 victory over them in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

In their 438 meetings during the regular season, LA has a commanding 262-176 edge over the other side. Last season, the two clubs faced off four times, with the Warriors winning the series 3-1.

On Friday, October 18, at 10:30 p.m. EDT, the LA Lakers will play the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center. ESPN 2 will broadcast the match nationwide.

The Lakers will play their back-to-back second leg. On Thursday, they defeated the Phoenix Suns 128-122 in overtime. The win was courtesy rookie Dalton Knecht woh had 35 points, including 20 of LA’s last 22 points. Anthony Davis had a great game as well with 35 points and 10 rebounds. LeBron James was rested for the game and is not expected to play Friday as well. 

 

Golden State Warriors What To Watch:

With a 5-0 preseason record, it is reasonable to say that the Warriors would want to sweep the exhibition series. Steph Curry scored sixteen points in their victory over the Lakers. Andrew Wiggins, playing in his first game of the season, finished with 11 points, while Moses Moody led the club with 21 points. Draymond Green scored ten points and grabbed ten rebounds for a double-double.

For the Warriors, De'Anthony Melton (back) and Brandin Podziemski (nose) are day-to-day players.  LeBron James is not playing for the Lakers this game. Christian Wood (left knee), Jordan Goodwin (hamstring), Christian Koloko (illness), and Jarred Vanderbilt (foot) are also sidelined. Rui Hachimura deals with calf discomfort on a daily basis.
