Atlanta Hawks What To Watch:

After undergoing a non-surgical operation on Tuesday, Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring) will be sidelined for about a month by the Atlanta Hawks. The team said on Tuesday that Bogdanovic, who hasn't played since the start of the season, will be reassessed in four weeks.

Due to a knee injury, De'Andre Hunter missed Monday's game and is doubtful for Wednesday. Vit Krejci (adductor strain) will also miss the game and be reassessed in two weeks, while Dyson Daniels (right hip flexor strain) sustained an injury during Monday's game and will not participate on Wednesday.

Jalen Johnson's first big game of the season was a nice sight for Atlanta despite the loss.

On October 21, the fourth-year forward, who had a breakout season with 16 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game the previous season, agreed to a five-year, $150 million contract. Despite his struggles before Monday, Johnson managed to record a career-high 29 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists.

Johnson has averaged 15.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, and four assists thus far this season.

Washington Wizards What To Watch:

The Washington Wizards will play the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, marking the second meeting between the top two picks from this year's NBA Draft in three days.

Zaccharie Risacher, Atlanta's first overall pick, and Alex Sarr, Washington's second overall pick, faced off for the first time Monday as the Wizards overcame the home Hawks 121-119.

In his second career start, 19-year-old Risacher struggled from the field, only managing four points on 1-for-8 shooting. Through four games, the 6-foot-9 big has averaged 7.3 points and 2.5 rebounds.

In his first NBA victory, Alex Sarr performed well, pulling down nine rebounds, two blocks, and seven points on 3-for-11 shooting. In three games, the 7-footer, who is also only 19, is averaging seven points and 6.7 rebounds.

Two seasoned players helped the Washington Wizards, who had just finished with a franchise-worst 15-67 record, win their first game. Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma caught fire, leading the team with 26 and 25 points, respectively, after trailing by 13 at one point.

With 51 seconds remaining, Poole made a stepback 3-pointer to increase Washington's advantage to 118–112, then with 12.7 seconds left, he made two free throws.

once Wes Unseld Jr. was fired halfway through the previous season, Keefe took over the reins and won his first race once the interim tag was lifted in May.

Kuzma will miss the rematch due to a groin injury.

Atlanta has already been plagued by injuries after just four games of the season.
